Matt Lauer asked Huckabee directly this morning if he would take a VP slot behind McCain. Buried between platitudes and characteristic one-liners he said, "Nobody wants the Vice President job, but nobody turns it down either."

Figures. Having Huckabee stand along side McCain on a ticket makes me not want to vote for him even more...
I can't understand this... I don't see how people can vote for someone who's entire campaign is based on sound bites and smart remarks. I don't think that many people can actually tell you what his plans are for the country.
Huckabee will eventually give his delegates to McCain in exchange for a nod to be the VP.
This feels like some weird joke, which is what the republican party has become.
